Best 12U Teams in NTX

by justawatcher » Tue Apr 26, 2011 6:36 am

You will all see at the money tournament. There is not a team in Texas that will be able to hit off of this pitcher. I have a lot of respect for a lot of those teams in this tournament but they just will not be able to hang. A good draw for the rest of the teams will be when she is not in the circle. Even then, their bats will crush you as 1 through 9 can hit it over.

There's one thing that I'll give you Fusion parents credit for and that is you are so humble. 57mph really isn't mind blowing but I do wish her luck. "Can" hit it over is really silly to say as all the top teams could say that about a few of their players. It's a flat out lie to say all 9 can hit it over because unless someone besides your big girl have done it while it counts, the statemenet really means nothing.

I do wish you luck though because you really have no choice but to win it considering your talk. I will always root for a Tarrant area team over everyone else because there are so many good teams and great girls in their midst. It's the parents that think their kids are better than everyone else that ruin it though. That normally points to an unfulfilled sports career for daddy. I guess they don't serve humble pie in Texas.

Good luck though, represent Tarrant and bring us back some hardware.

I can't believe you fell for the bait. Most of these posters are from Houston they actually have the same screen names over at the Fastpitchdirt site. JW is an old friend of Fusion's/Mizuno but now is in Houston don't know why he stirring up all of this but I guess that's what's HB is about. Just keep it civil.

I'm sure there is no Fusion parents bragging on here and at least I hope there is not. You all need to remember we are talking about a bunch of girls and about a bunch of nice, hard working dd's.

I have personally seen all of the Fusion pitchers and I can honestly say they are in the low 50's. They are taking a strong squad not doubt or why would they travel to Houston, Texas' version of the lion's den.

We have played in Houston before and there is a lot of great teams there. When you travel to Houston it's tough to win because first; you are travelling, second; you are running into a bunch of great teams, third every team in Houston doesn't want to get beat by DFW, c'mon!

If you go to Houston and bring some hardware it is a great accomplishment. I wish Fusion luck as they have a big target on their back but hey I guess it will get them better prepared for those that make it to play at a higher level and Nationals if they qualify.

Parents just let the girls play and let them decide who's who on the dirt.

Good luck to everyone headed down South and have a safe drive going and coming.

You misconstrued my statment there M8. That was my way of wishing the Fusion girls luck; better than, hope they go 0-4. Please enjoy your day.

I know someone that was at the Fusion practice last weekend...said the new girl is from California... Supposed to be the real deal.

Are we really suppose to be impressed by a 57mph pitcher in 12U? Those are a dime a dozen on the top teams in the country. Not sure if Fusion qualifies.

Where are all these people coming from? Must be Calif or Glory, get a name and get in line.

Yeah I think we all know 57 will be on the slow side once they get to Nationals but this is a form on the best 12U in NTX. Having bats like theirs and a 57mph pitcher (which is not a dime a dozen in NTX despite what liveintx broken radar gun says) makes them part of this discussion for sure.

Sorry that you took the time to reply and try and call me out for a comment that I did not make. In your haste to look like Alex Trebek you missed that fact that realitysucks made the comment about the "dime a dozen".

Better luck next time.
