Top 14U Teams In the Nation @ Hurricane Friendly 6/22/08

Friendlies are nothing more than a practice with someone keeping score. For example, this weekend the jets played Lakewood Ladies white. Lakewood won 1-0. The jets batted 12, and Lakewood batted 15. Both teams pitched multiple pitchers, and were moving players around throughout the game. I do not think either manager cared about the result of the game, but were more concerned with developing their squads. I can say this, both teams are excellent on defense.

That is probably right, but Lakewood White did not play the Jets this weekend. Must have been Lakewood Black.

I agree my money on the first year 14u Campbell. He knows how to win and brings alot of knowledge to the field. I would guess Tyson will be 3rd as he always seems to knock without an answer... LL GREAT team not sure of there depth this year. If it is only one game they could beat any team in the Nation.

IMHO, other than Victory-Campbell and the Corona Angels, there are not many other '94 teams that can compete with the stronger '93's.

On Sunday at Midland, I felt like I was back at the Hurricane Friendly. Congratulations to LL Black, Victory USA (Cambell), Corona Angels, Hurricanes 93 for being in Top 5 for the nation. All the teams represented So Cal wonderfully. Keep up the hard work in 2009.
