My DD is very interested in learning how to throw harder. She currently throws about 60-61 MPH. Her mechanics are good, but we both want to know how she can take it to the next level. Any ideas?

Let me guess, she is 10U in CA, or 12U in TX!

What I find funny about these types of threads is that the girl obviously has a pitching coach if she's throwing 60+ with good mechanics... and yet her dad comes on here to ask us what she needs to do to throw harder.
I can't help but wonder, Nuvey... you're entrusting this critical stage of your daughter's development to a pitching coach, so why don't you simply ask her coach? And if you have, let us know that advice, so then we'll know where you stand, and anyone with constructive comments can chime in.
And lest you think we on The Bucket might be in awe over a 14u throwing 60+? We won't. Everyone on the Bucket has a DD throwing at least 65+!

Maybe I'm off here, but I don't think she's a pitcher with a screen name like Nuvey Jr. Guessing she's a catcher wanting to throw down harder/faster.
Nuvey, I think she's right where she should be. Probably had a strong arm through 10U and 12U and development has stalled a bit? Keep in mind we're at the end of the spring/summer season. Her body is a little tired. You will probably be amazed what rest and off season conditioning will do for her this winter.
