14u Pool games for Nationals

On the Midland web site it has Pool games listed for Monday amd Tuesday. I was under the impression that we would be broken in to 4 team pools for seating of the brackets. If I am not seeing something correctly please let me know. Thanks .

I don't know about you Spazsdad but this new format sure seems like the girl scout way. Don't get rewarded for winning your pool but lets make it fair for everyone.

You know the girl scout way everyone is happy everyone finishes first. If Little Susie lost the game she gets to go first next time.

Another way to look at it is that maybe some of the girls that will not see the field in elimination may now get a chance in pool play since the games don't count.

We had this same format at our State Championship. It made for very boring pool games since no team was willing to show what they had to the other team. In fact, many teams were willing to forfeit their pool games since they meant nothing.
