Breeze Drama

He's not responding because from the story I heard he was the coach involved. Feel free to deny if this information is incorrect.

If memory serves me right. This not the first time Mr. DM has put hands on anyone. There was a tournament a few years back when he put hands on one of his 10u girl during a closely contested game. From my understanding the parent of the kid did not see the incident take place but there were plenty of parents and spectators that witnessed it. Nevertheless, the parent of the kid pulled his kid off the team. But the most shocking part is, after a few years the kid came back this spring/summer to play for him again. Surprise! Surprise! They were on this very same team that went to nationals and got a front row seat to see DM put hands on not a kid this time but a female coach/mom.

A few lessons to be learned from this? You figure it out.

It is unfortunate that the head of an organization behave's like this. If I were in that organization I would ask for his resignation from the board and ban him from any particpation or contact.

Maybe you should all slow down before you all try the man and convict on the bucket.

I know for a fact how stories get crazy out of control on something that isnt even close to the truth.

Until the coaches involved get in here and say what happened.... it is what???

Sorry to burst your bubble there Mr. "holier then thow" Iluvblue... BUT, quite a few parents from our team were there and witnessed the "MELEE" 1st hand while waiting to play the loser of that particular game while our dd's warmed up in right field!!! Or do you wish for more evidence than that???
IT IS WHAT IT IS!!! :o No craziness AND the plain and simple truth!!!
Now go.back to watching your Dodger game!!! :D

Sorry iluvblue from where i was at and waiting for my daughter's game to start the older coach did grab the female coach. Not sure for what reason and I really dont care. You never put your hands on a women. I am glad that the other male coach came out of the dugout to defend her. I just thought it was sad for all of the spectaors to see especially the players since they were all crying and he was still acting like and a**.

If he is the head of an organization then they should remove him.

I have known and watched DM for over 12 years and for all you newbies, I can tell you this is an annual event for DM. He can be very charming, he pretty much knows the game, however, he is as vicious as they have ever come. This is to umpires, parents and especially to his players. A half dozen years ago, I witnessed him totally tear one of his Gold players for no reason at all except she made a mistake. This player lived and breathed the game, adored DM and he ripped her to shreds in front of the team and parents. It seems that everytime he goes to Nationals he folds under the pressure and goes off. What those parents and children witnessed is par for the course with him. His career is littered with these outbursts. As far as getting him to step down, good luck! It's his ball and no one else is going to play with it. The saddest thing for me, is that so many other coaches think they have to be like him and that parents fall for his drivel about how is organization will get you seen etc. It looks like the huge ego of one man is going to continue to ruin an organization and ultimately these young players.

16U Fan...Pretty much what I've witnessed over the years as well. My dd played in that ORG one season, and thats all I needed to see. As far as being seen thats a joke. Everyone in the know stays away from his teams as they get older. He really only posts if you talk about him, his buddy or the Breeze as a whole. Being it sounds as if he was the degenerate involved we probably wont see a response and if we do he will be his normal I have 26 years experience and you dont know what your talking about speech. Blah Blah. I've been in the sport over 16 years now and he doesnt know as much as he'd like to think he does. The game is passin' him by. It just is. Yah and if it is him he isn't going anywhere. PAR indeed.
