An adult who yells demeaning, embarrassing things at someone else's 12 year old daughter is worth defending. Right.

yeah sure, that's why some of those 12U coaches lose players, heck some even lose coaches, some coaches leave the week of western nationals.

There is nothing wrong with getting a little upset in the moment. But to yell and demean kids from across the diamond, is just plain disgusting. And the best part is that they might have had some success with another team and thinks that the coaching style is what made them win, when in fact the team might just have been better and might have even won without you.

You couldn't be more wrong...Amie has told her team to relax, have fun, and not to worry about winning or losing..Just to keep learning the game. As a first year 12 team, she has said that all year. Ask any parent on the team who KNOWS what is being said.

The team did not disolve last year because we lost. We decided to take some time off..we tried to stop managing/coaching but my staff just missed it too much and after a few months the 4 coaches without kids on the team really wanted to get back together. They are not good watchers..LOL I really wanted to stop managing last year when I fronted a lot of money for a player with the promise of a sponsor which never came and I was honestly, just plain mad. In hindsight, we probably should not have stopped, because it did put us behind. But you are wrong about the reason we stopped.. Two for Two..

Amie never played for Phil..She played for Larry Mays and Gordon's Panthers...But she does repect his knowledge of the game.

There are some people on these boards who are way too familiar with Amie to believe the BS your're slinging....were you on the team at the time of the Vegas tournament in spring '07..?...just curious...

I never said I didn't like Amie or any of the coaches that made the list. I was just saying that the pretty picture you paint doesn't sound too realistic compared to what I've heard from former and current families. And I didn't think the 'Anger Management' list was about what the coaches do and say at team meetings..I thought this board referred to these particular coaches behavior on the field at game time (but I've even heard that some of her team meetings aren't too pretty either). She seems to me like a very knowledgable coach and her teams seem to usually do quite well...(and just so you don't think I'm hating on her..I DO know families that love her style)...but she made the list for a reason...when she loses it....WATCH OUT!!!..
