And a huge shout out to Sarah for leading them there especially considering the very unfortunate circumstances with momma. Even though it's killing her not to be there she must be over flowing with pride because of what you and the girls have accomplished!!!

PARTY!!! Time to crank up the ice chest. :D

Fresno Force tourny...OC Impact and Corona Angels finish 1-2.....SoCal State championships...Angels over Impact, but finish 1-2 again...now nationals 1-2 again... Great job teams and great job Grapettes. Hats off to Orange County, California for supplying so many of the girls on these teams and several other teams in this tourny. It is the Mecca of girls fastpitch softball, with Riverside and San Diego counties hot on their tail.

weekend4trvl --

are you saying CA beat OC Impact in game 1 of Finals and it's over? Or just that they are both 1-2/2-1 again and still playing?

Congrats to CA abd OCI!! I was able to come down and watch both teams play yesterday, and speak with some of the parents / coaches. For those of you that took your time to give me a little "peek" on how you SoCal teams work, thank you. That number you gave me for Balco doesn't work, though :). Good luck moving up to 14's, and hopefully someday soon we can have a Noth Alabama team playing on Sunday at Nationals.

Corona Angels never gave up, we had the game and they won it in the end.
You cannot take anything away from either team. Both teams played with heart and respect for the game. To end up in 1st and 2nd of ASA Nationals is a tremendous accomplishment no matter what the outcome. I'm sure with the amount of talent in both teams, and the great coaching, there will be plenty more battles like this in the future.

Good luck to all in 14's

Class!!! I can assure you that none of our parents said anything neg. to your kid or team. Don't hate because we choose to have or show a little spirit. Lets just get it out there..we most likely beat you guys. :o Somebody should have made sure the tournament rules read " In the South church held every day, even at ball park and we would have been quiet"

So, just to be clear, did you guys put rocks in water bottles and bang them or not?
