2nd Annual Mizuno / Christway Sports Exposure Showcase

by intheknow » Wed Sep 21, 2011 11:09 am

I hope this don't mean I'm going to hell  But this 2nd Annual Mizuno / Christway Sports Exposure Showcase has to be the weakest Gold event in history. I pray for all players but please let's don't have weak 12U players playing in these so called Showcases....It cheapens the value of Showcases...

Most of the college coaches will probably be at Sheltons tournament at Craig Ranch. ;)

This exposure tournament was not worth the time or money it took to attend. It was poorly ran from the point of view of having college coaches at the complex. I only saw about 2 colleges at the one complex and that may be stretching it!!!

You saw 2 at GN? I was there Saturday. I heard about 1 but never saw him/her.

It's $600 to play in it and it borders false advertising. However, teams that think they can get kids recruited by signing up for a "college look" and bringing player profiles are kidding themselves anyway.

Money pit maybe, I'm curious though as to how was this thing poorly run?

Why would college coaches be at this tournament?

When we found out that the Christway tournament director's own daughter took her team to the Texas Glory event down the street to Craig Ranch, we guessed it would be a terrible recruiting weekend. Any college coaches at Craig Ranch?
