I saw Courtney this weekend. Yes there were some colleges there. What is a "recruiting weekend?"

Anyone have a complete list of college coaches that showed up for Christway or the Tx. Glory event at Craig Ranch?

We should all celebrate the Lord's gift to us that includes our good health and ability to play a game. The Bible teaches us to not be negative, but to thank Him for the many blessings that he has bestowed upon us. Personally, I appreciate all the hard work that went into this event and hope the organizers are resting well after a long weekend. Thank you and God Bless.

Thread-killer. . . :D . . . but since you seem to have been there, were there any college coaches at this Christway Sports Exposure Showcase or was it just a money-maker for the organizers who are resting well after their long weekend?

My daughter played in the Christway Tournament. Every game we had 3 to 7 coaches there. I would assume they came because the girls sent them the schedules and asked them to come. I know many colleges were playing last weekend and several showcases were happening. I feel the college coach turout was what is average for the time and area. In the past we have traveled out of state, spent thousands of dollars and had very little college coaches show up to tournaments. I feel the tournament was great, ran well considering several teams dropped at the last minute. As far as the TD daughter's team, it was NOT her choice to play elsewhere.

I call B.S. What schools?

Vested interest?

fastpitchparent1977 wrote:My daughter is a member of Christway Sports and Randy does a GREAT job promoting her. She has over a dozen schools (D1 included) who come watch her play and keep in contact with her. Some have called Randy and he follows up with all requests. It is a TREMENDOUS help to have him at the tournaments talking to all the coaches, finding out their needs and recommending girls. He also does THE BEST skills videos out there. I have seen many videos by several places and none compare. We are EXTREMELY happy with the videos and recruiting he does. Since my daughter isn't allowed to talk to the coaches unless she is at their school, it is great to have yet another person (including her select coaches) in her corner wanting the best for her. I am so happy we found Christway Sports.

East Central University
UTA
Abilene Christian
Lamar University
Cameron
NCTC
Vernon
McClennan
Univ. of Arkansas - Monticello (he sends a rep who we have met several times)

These who are attended our games. Maybe if you had a stronger team, you'd get a better turn out.

No need to take it personal. I don't have a team and was unaware that there were any strong ones at Gabe Nesbit. My apologies.

Apology accepted. BTW - my DD is committed with much help from Randy and his Christway program. Being on a top team helps too, but mainly it is hounding the coaches with emails to get them to come out. So many great girls, so little time.
