Maybe pay them more than $20 a game so you get some who at least do as well as the teenagers? maybe an age limit & a green card toooooooooo.............

I was truly surprised at the quality of the officials this weekend in Stockton or the lack there of.

it was worse than NSA at Rainbow. I didn’t see any favoritism, they were equally bad on every game I saw. Didn't matter who the team was. heard that the last 3 tournament were the same way. Saw one game the field ump was flirting with one of the coaches the whole time! (opposite sex ,of Corse)

What about the ump who yelled "welcome to stockton!" in response to some fans complaining about the calls?

Dont make Stockton out to be some unique corner of the Earth where all the s**t umpires hang at.
If you have been around softball and traveled around this great country playing softball, you will find where ever you are at, your going to have a few real solid umpires that carry themselves real well and control a game like clock work, then you have the middle of the road umpires you really dont know they are their most of the time but every once in a while will have brain fart, then you have the all the rest that need no explanation.
