This year it will be very interesting....In Texas only 3 teams did well at Gold Nationals.

Sudden Impact
Texas Impact
Texas Blaze

The first two are very known clubs with tons of history. The 3rd club is very unknown. We will see if Central Texas just got lucky or of they are really getting better. I am going to have my DD go to the Blaze tryouts just to see how this organization is ran. Anyone know any good or bad At the 18 and 12 level.

I've seen one big change so far:

1. Batbusters Montoya rebuilding and added two big/key players; I think they came from 94 Elite and should be a big loss for them.

It will be interesting to see all the changes over the next month.

What's up with all the NEW 12U teams in Houston???????? Seems like everyone is starting up a new team. Gonna make for some very diluted teams if all of these make.

Every year, especially at the 12U level new teams start up. And by January most of the new ones will fold. The good players end up on strong teams that have been around for a while in the end usually. It even happens to some extent at 14U.

It will be interesting, from a distance. They got slammed by name in another thread by "mothergoose". Earning a reputation can be a real b***h!

It's funny about reputations getting around. It seems to me there are several 1st and 2nd yr 12U teams in Houston that couldn't pay me to put my DD on their team. Everyone knows who they are, yet they always seem to have enough players and hang around. At what age group does all that catch up to them and they can't field a team that can hang? Not going to call anyone out here because that serves no purpose. Lunatic and REB seem to have a handle on the ones I'm talking about anyway.
