What games would be the best to watch this weekend at Arnaiz? So many good teams minus the a few better older 14's.

KG vs Demarini will be a good one for sure....

Hustle will continue to look good.

Intresting to see what Stompers bring out

Wow... five days with no Northern back up on your proposal must mean you stand alone. Is it because all those up there know what the outcome would most likely be?
Well, in three weeks a couple of "your" top teams will be headed South for the Brenda Marsh tournament and maybe they'll fair better than at the I.E. tournament? :o That may give you a better idea of where you stand again comparison wise!!!
Pretty early in the season to start all the "smack talk" though don't you think???

BTW bmxbaby, I wasn't implying your post was smack talk. Just saying it "would" start it, so breath easy. ;)

"fair better"? I believe smash went down there and took 3rd, while not at full strength.

And heeeeeeeeeeeere we go... just kidding :D
As I've mentioned in an earlier post, they didn't look that strong this year, so I guess that explains it. BUT... as they say, you're only as srong as your weakest player, right!?
It WILL be interesting to see if they "fair" any better against stronger competition @ the thanksgiving tournament nonetheless. And hopefully at "FULL" strength so there are no excuses if they don't go deep into the tourney.
And I hope no one takes THIS post as trash talk, simply a harmless post. I know, I know, odd huh!!! ;)

OutfieldAngel, no prob. And you are correct, I was not trying to start smack talk. I was just mentioning it would be a great tourney to watch. As a spectator, I've been enjoying watching the game as I'm sure others. When my kids team doesn't play, I never wanted to just be a spectator and bring the family like I would a high school football game. But lately, it has become very competitive and fun to watch. Bangers over the fence, double plays, etc been enjoyable. This wishful tourney, I would pay to watch!

Can't we all just get along! ;) J/K. Look, don't we need to make this sport more enjoyable to watch so we can get this darn sport back in the Olympics instead of PING PONG! (No offense ping pong lovers) But really, all there is in TB is parent drama. We should be trying to promote this sort of Rivalry to draw spectators and fill seats and give these kids a little more to work for and forward to then just a scholarship. Maybe we'd see more news reel plays, diving catches, triple plays, etc. I'd love to see the ambition for these kids go up with that dream of making it to the Olympics again. Just my opinion.
