12u Spring Teams

Team Extreme is going to be based out of Lincoln area. I heard practice will be held at Foskett Park. The organization is Napa Team Xtreme. Should be a very solid team.

EB Vipers99 will be a solid contender this spring. We competed in some Grapettes tourneys this Fall and beat a lot of high caliber teams but also lost to some high caliber teams. We are keeping most of our core together for Spring and just like everyone else out there need a little more depth in the pitching department.

LM a solid young team – not so sure of that. Too much of an elitist attitude to field a non-competitive team. Look for team to be heavy with 99’s.

Has anyone hear about the try-outs for Lady Magic,12U team. Rumor has it that only 10-11 girls showed up. Looks as if they will need to hold another one, but will have to compete with many other 12U team try-outs. Haven't hear who will be coaching?

I had a friend attend the Lady Magic 12U tryout and there were only 10-11 girls. He was told that it will not be a age pure team. They are looking at both 99 and 00 players. They were also told that the Lady Magice keep those teams together all the way through 18Gold. That sounds like what alot of parents are looking for in a organization. Looking at the best rated organizations out there Lady Magic and Sorcerers are the tops in Nor Cal. One of the 14U coaches (Lewis) will be coaching with Karen Andreotti a Lady Magic Alumni and Sac state player. Any one from the area that knows Travel softball knows they would be lucky to have there kids in this organization. Just look at the Web site. A lot of D-1 signings (Pac 12).

"keep those teams together all the way through 18Gold". That same coach has forced many out since he started his current 14u team in 12's. Again, it's all about winning - it won't be a true '00 team (takes away from that first statement) and after they start better players will come in and take positions away.
