I posted a poll a couple of months ago as to what the girls are swinging.

I would say the best aluminum bats would be the Rockettech and the Techzilla both by Anderson.

as far as composite bats go, gonna have to see which one you like.

Warranty wise, Anderson gets rave reviews. Easton has received some heat lately.

I heard from a buddy of mine that they were going to BOYCOTT EASTON... Not only because of their warranty issues,customer service , but because they failed to vote and support the women's fastpitch for the upcoming Olympics...Is this true... This really sucks there are so many young girls to aspire to represent their Country in the olympics.. Who knows... in 4 years maybe they will give the US a run for their money... EASTON SUCKS!!! besides they are making the big bucks...

My DD has used many different kinds of bats over the years but has given them all up for the Anderson Rockettech. Great swing, solid pop, and the balls do seem to travel "a little" further. As for warranty: 1st RT cracked within 3 months (I think it had alot to do with playing a tournament in late February in 18 degree weather) anyway, sent it back and recieved a replacement within 7 days. 2nd one has lasted for 6 months and has been worth every penny spent on it.

With that said not everyone swings the RT well. Alot of girls on DD's high school and travel ball team have tried it and have not handled it as well as they do their Eastons. Suggestion would be to find a sales rep, they have demo bats at alot of the tournaments and have been great about letting the girls get the feel of the bat. Most of all remember that what may work for my DD or someone else's DD may not be what is best for your DD. Utlimatly she needs to get the feel of the bat and decide what she likes best!

Just wondering - why no RockeTechs in the Olympics? Just a sponsorship issue? Anderson should be making enough by now to get at least one lady to agree to swing an RT in the Olympics.

And is Mendoza really swinging a -11 bat (her own model)? Or do you think they beefed it up & put the Mendoza logo on it?

And what is that red/white/blue Mizuno bat that most of the Japanese use?

The RT is great for some girls not for others. We find that the girls who have trouble swinging the RT love the Techzilla. Both bats have a lot of pop. The Stealth has a lot of pop for a while but we have had several break this past year and waranty was a joke. The miken halo lite has been popular with the younger girls.

My experience and observation on this question is rather complex, but most if not all experts on the subject would make a strong recommendation based upon results that suggest that the best bat for any player at any level is the one that best moves the ball away from the surface of the bat and into the field of play, preferably between the white lines and if possible, very far away from any of the nine players not wearing the uniform that you are wearing.

...there are many good bats. Beg, borrow, or steal to try one out and then buy the one that works the best!!!
