2011/12 is getting started soon....who are THE 12/11u teams?

by PitchersDad9 » Wed Feb 15, 2012 7:38 am

I wouldn't say their not in top 3 yet either in NWI. Has your team played them Hoosier Dad? I'm just saying don't count your eggs before there hatched. To say your better would be wrong.

Just saying Bulldogs00 beat Team Oak Stars a couple weeks ago. Team Oak Stars has beat Bulldogs 99's once. It speaks for itself that there not too far from there 99's.

The Bulldogs 00 are pretty dam good!!!!! Bulldog00 will agree with me I'm sure. The majority of the girls are 11 and they are competing (and beating) some of the best true 12u teams. Are there any young teams similar in age to the Bulldogs 00 in the state of Indiana that can compete with the Bulldogs 00? I don't want to look ahead, but just wait until these girls are all 12 next year. They will probably be the best team in the state of Indiana!

Have you seen there pitcher?? My DD throws pretty good as an older 12. But this kid throws pretty hard for her age. She was striking our girls out in Kankakee. They got batts to match too. I think we have a pretty descent team too.

Maybe you are correct and I haven't been reading everything correctly. Here is how I read the following statements. Please feel free to correct me if I misread.

“The only two other teams that compare to Bulldogs00 are Bulldogs99 and Raiders Black. All three teams will probably beat any team north of Lafayette, especially all the local teams.” How do you know there are no other teams north of Lafayette which are as good as these three teams when you haven’t played them and really know nothing about them?

“The coaching staff only puts the best players in the best positions.” So the other teams north of Lafayette have coaches who chose not to put their best players in the best positions? Why would any coach not play their best players in the best positions?

“Always entertaining to listen to people talk crap about teams they haven't even played. You can't knock people down till you've played them. Just saying.” Agreed and I would go further by stating displaying good sportsmanship also includes not knocking a team down even after you have played and defeated them.

I would use this statement “Harris Heat 99's- didn't you just lose to the Bulldogs 99 and haven't even played 00 yet, dont' choke on your popcorn just yet!” as an example of talking crap. I am willing to concede I may have misread the tone in which the comment was written. I glad the statement was not intended to knock the harris team down before you played them.

“I think the Bulldogs 00 will give them more than just a run for their money, they shoulld put them in their place.” Has team energy declared a place? From what I have read there are only three teams who’s places have been declared.

Have I been misreading?

This thread is amusing to read. It is also fun to respond to the post.

OMG!!! The holy grail "high speed" pitcher that strikes everybody out!!!!! :o :o :o :o

In 12's and above, I'd take a girl that has ball movement anyday over a girl that throws hard MEATBALLS all day!!!!!!!!

Some of you people need to re-read your posts.... WOW, so freaking funny on how "MY DD's TEAM IS BETTER THEN YOURS!!!!!!" Ah, well.... have you played Team X?? Ah, no.... but I know we are better!!!! DAAAAAAAAAA..... OK GEORGE!!!!! Geeewwwwiiiiiiizzzzzz, reminds me back in grade school at recess....

IMO the Raiders Black and CP Bulldogs 99 are two of the top 12u teams north of Indy, I have much respect for what coach McConnell is trying to do with his Raiders team, it looks as if he has put together a very challenging schedule for his players and his coaching staff, IMO that's what it's all about, they will grow tremendously this summer and should be ready to make the jump to 14u in the fall, I hope to see him in Moline this August!! CP Bulldogs 99 are also a very good team, well coached, some good athletes, and one of the best 12u pitchers in NWI, as we all know either of these teams can beat the other on any given day. I don't think you will see these two teams at any of the many "B" tournaments in NWI. As far as the "Best of the Rest", that's a tough call, most of the rest will just be playing and beating each other every weekend from Warsaw, to Kankakee Il, with stops at Hidden Lake and Layfayette.

Also, I believe the NWI White Sox 2000 are the only true 11u team in NWI, if there is another out there please speak up!! I would love to set up a game or two!!!

You forgot to mention how good the Bulldogs00 team is Bake. They have proven that they are a contender by all the success they've had this fall and winter. I hope that if your NWI White Sox and Bulldogs00 play each other, that you give the Bulldogs some good competition. Maybe they will see each other sooner than later!
