The 96 Batbusters are no longer. They are the 96 Texas Fusion

96 Glory will also be strong in N. Texas. Glory just dont have the pitching compared to Fusion or Diamonds

I don't think anyone here has said that 97's would be dominating the 96's. It was just stated (by more than one person)that there are a couple of 97's that will definitely give the stronger 96's a run for their money. Red Hots97, TPS97 and yes, HV97. Not sure why Ice 97 keeps getting put inthe mix. No doubt, Tx Sting 96, Aces, Peppers 96, and Fury 96 since they picked up some new players, all will be the ones to beat this year as far as Houston goes. I, for one, am excited about the possibilities.

Ice gets brought up, because they actually won tournaments last year. I dont believe HV won any tournaments. Ice returns all of their players.

Ice97?

I guess I'll reserve judgement until I see them this year, then. Played 97's several times last year and am familiar with the overall makeup of that team. Look forward to seeing what changes have been made.

Was it Ice that picked up a starting pitcher from GC Attitude to go to Florida? Maybe it was Sting. I can't remember.

I think she was from the Aces. They have been "retooling" all fall and are still looking for a pitcher.

Ice 97 is returning all players with the exception of one and may be adding one to the roster. Ice 97 did not pick up any players from the GC Attitude. Ice 97 has won several tourneys and you can check their website. The pitcher from the Aces did pick up with Ice 96 for Florida and has returned to her team. Ice 96 is currently looking to add a third pitcher to their rotation. When all else fails call the coaches and ask them, I did. Hope this clears up some questions, as it looks like people are confusing both teams.
