Look, both sides of this is obviously an opinion and to each his own. I have to admit, a big part of me is bummed that the traditional powerhouse teams won't be in Moline, that is our reason for going. I promise I am not taking away from the competition of the teams in Cali, they are why we are going to Moline!!...lol. Just stinks they won't be there as we feel we are ready to compete at that level!! I'm sure some that know of us would agree.... Anyway, at the end of the day I wish luck to all teams in whichever they decide to play, be it PGF or ASA for whatever reason!!!!

I agree with you, it is a bummer that Nationals are now split. There is no over all champion now because of it. You could look at it this way...you could probably go to Cali at any time and play nationally competive teams but you only have one chance a year to play the US diversed ASA Nationals where the entire country comes together. There is no softball experience that compares to it.

Yeah it's a bummer that ASA didn't listen to its customers and is now competing (and quickly losing) to PGF.

ASA really hasn't lost anything when you take a closer look.
