Bomber Shootout

by ceelo9 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 12:18 pm

I would say AF will win as many games as they won in the last friendly. Although they beat Centex Chambers which is a pretty good & well coached team, I'm not sure you would say they are elite. AF has problems beating the N. TX "top teams." Who is considered a big dog?

I guess the firecrackers are not considered a big dog as well then. I hear that AF beat you this past weekend and I hear they did it without their lefty ace pitcher, who did not pitch all weekend due to injury. Can anyone confirm the loss or the injury to their Ace and when will she be back?

How did the other teams fair? I would love to know who beat who but I dont think they are posted anywhere since this is not an official tournament.

I dont know how "friendly it was" I didnt see the game because we were on another field playing but I tell you what I did see. I did see Tony make his team run after losing to AF and I did hear he called AF Freedom a weak team in his speech to his team after they lost the game to AF, except the speech was given in the open for everyone and anyone to hear and I heard AF was not too happy about it. Sounds like a great coach to me.

Wow you are a real idiot. All you are trying to do is stir something up. The score was 5-5 . They must of really hurt your feelings.
Every time I look around FC was running, fc was the last team to leave Saturday because they where running.
Yes it's a friendly. It's a time for the best teams to work on different things.

Seems as though you have stubbed your toe trouble maker...thought you were asking about the weekend of games because you werent there and would LOOOOVVVEEEE to know how it all turned out...yet, you did see this coach and his team...get real liar/trouble maker.

Blah blah blah- most all coachs give the ole should have beat them speech and run the kids...get over your self and seek some therapy. If you ask nicely I bet they would all get together and hold a fundraising friendly to help pay for said therapy just so that you will leave them all alone.

Havent been to the shootout since my kid aged out, but please tell me they still have some of the tournament at the NB comal park there on the river? Love Huber Ranch guys, but something about that place there over the river, with the bees , vendors, ankle deep sand, and Scott racing all over on his golf buggy. :)

Actually I never said I wasnt there. I said I heard that AF beat FC, which is true I didnt see it and I dont know how the other teams faired this weekend since there were no scoreboards on the fields and scores of games were never posted. I am only reporting the facts, don't blame me if you don't happen to like them.
