Question: Why is the bucket quiet after the biggest tourney of the Spring season?

Answer: It is quiet because losers don't want to post about their losses -AND/OR- the scores. And, winners are too classy to brag about it.

Rocket, I'm gonna leave that one alone!

I think Saturday score pool links are posted on the force classic league lineup pagehttp://www.leaguelineup.com/miscinfo.asp?menuid=30&cmenuid=30&url=fresnoforce&sid=1027360818

Sunday bracket results are posted there as well but not the scores from individual sunday games. Not sure if we'll ever see scores or if anyone really kept track.

Great Tournement ... I would like to give a shout out to the following coaching staffs who in my opinion had ZERO ego's during the games i watched ,, which could equate to their teams continuing success .. Smash / TS / Sorcerer and RBI ,, Im sure their are many more but these were a few i observed .. Their teams looked loose and happy to be playing ball ...

On the other hand ( I heard ) a Coach from Nor Cal needed a spotter to locate his hat because he threw it so many times   and that the F bomb was flying out of his mouth as fast as his hat was coming off of his head .... I hope this individule seriously considers reflecting on the reasons he coaches .. I honestly dont understand why parents would put their kids in that enviorment ..

Fresno Force ,, thank you for all your hospitality ... Fields were watered / dragged / chaulked before every game ... All the volunteers were polite ,, barbeque was fantastic ,, Umpiors were solid ..

Your staff continues to put out a great product .. Thank you ..

OR...

Some of us don't come here to brag/put down others.

Last year Sorcerer didn't make it to the gold bracket in this same tournament. Breeze 97 won it, and I don't think they have had a great showing since? Both teams are very capable of winning any big regional tournament (ie Force, Memorial Day). 14U has a depth this year that it didn't have last year. I don't see the need for any team to jump up and down over a tournament, especially a team like the above, when the goal is to be competitive/win at nationals.

ICMTM, you're right there is no reason to come here and brag and put other teams down. It would behoove others to follow suit. But let's be realistic, this is the bucket and you always have parents come on here and beat their chest and talk about how good their dds team is. I've been following the 14s cuz my dd plays in that age group and there has been plenty of trash talking. You don't need to look any further than the 14s poll. Much have been said about the Sorcerer team, in particular by that orange team south of stockton. They (orange) have said some real nasty stuff about the (blue) team. Now don't get me wrong, my dd doesn't play for that Sorcerer team but I do have a lot of friends on that team. But every since the 14 polls came out the pumpkin team has had a lot to say early on, all negative I may add. Now, based on the poll the fans have voted the sorcerer #1 team this spring and every since then the orange team has taken offense and made it a mission to claim the title #1. I understand the orange team is trying to make a name for their organization and be mentioned with the big orgs like sorcerer, lady magic, grapettes, san jose sting...etc but they want to toot their horns here on the bucket instead of leaving it on the field and of course anytime they win or do good at a tournament they want to let the whole world know about it. They want to let everyone know how good they are or to be mentioned with the best but based from the results of the last two tournaments they have played in they have gotten some pretty good beat downs, first from TS softball and now the sorcerers. I guess thats why they were crying about the Force brackets knowing they would've had to play either TS or sorcerers early during elimination sunday. Since they were sent home early Sunday (one and done) they havent had much to say. Unfortunately, this is the sad part of the game, we have a bunch of bloated parent egos who want to go on public forums and talk crap but when they are humbled by the game, they cant face the music. Its too bad because I know people on that Smash team and they have some special girls playing there. If the parents would just let the girls play and not let their egos get in the way, everyone could enjoy the games more. But I guess being civilized wouldn't make for a good forum and lack drama. JMO

On another note, I disagree with the 14s having more depth this year. Last year you had a lot more stronger teams than this year. You had Sorcerer, LM, Breeze, Silverstreak, Salinas Storm, Fresno Force, RR Gold, OBS Monarchs, KG Hitters, AASA...etc You don't have half as much this year. I think one of the reasons is you have too many girls jumping up to 16s/18s when they really should be playing 14s (case in point TS Softball) but hey that's life.

There are far too many girls playing up in 16u that could be playing 14u. I guess it doesnt really matter, but this is why 14u is not near as strong as it could be.

Im just asking, not attacking....could one of the reasons be the lack of legitimate coaching at 14u be the reason more are jumping to 16u? Have not been there to see the level of coaching at 16s. A couple that come to mind is Olsen and Reid. Great coaching. Perhaps some RR 16s? Im not sure but which coaches have been around long enough to prove their ability to teach the game? I'm not a coach but I would like my kid to be proficient in multiple positions. All I hear from parents who's kids are in college tell me that I am ahead of the game for doing this. I have not seen many teams who shuffle around multiple positions every game. I have seen one team do this but not any others. Maybe they do becasue a lot of ball is being played that I have not seen but I personally have not seen it much. I just feel sorry for the kids who their whole experiance play center field or first base every single game since 10's, when they show up to 18 gold tryouts or pay for that recruiting camp when they can not step up.
