16U in Southlake

What's on your mind?

by Lefty's Dad » Fri Sep 19, 2008 1:27 pm

See, this is why Texas posters should just stick to the Texas forum. Not only do the west coasters not have a clue where Southlake is (who really cares anyway?), but 8u rec teams start flaming each other, Lori will get involved, some one called bblover will start texting nonsense and then everyone will feel the need to start telling each other what their real name is. It really can be embarassing at times

Art...How did you get that picture of my Ex wife?

BTW, Southlake is located deep in the barrios of south Texas located close to Mexico. Lower income, govt. housing, etc. Not a nice place to live.

I think you get the picture...

....every now and then they put together a decent football team.

There is never a need to ask a man where he's from, if hes from Texas he's sure to tell you, if he ain't you'd just serve to embarass him.
Luck is simply preparation meeting opportunity

You are correct, it is outside of Dallas, right by the airport.
And yes, Dragon football is alive and well, 3-0

The disneyland house is already coming along nicely, picture just taken today:

And so you can see how close it is to the fields, the brick/stone in the background is theirs:

I've spent lots of time in Southlake. Almost moved there once. Aside from the heat and humidity (the deal breakers), towns don't come much nicer.

Hmmm...I've never heard Houston, TX called the land of fruits and nuts but I guess it could be considered that depending on what part of town you ventured into. I assume you thought I was from California by my post. Sometimes (rarely) I do get embarrassed by my fellow Texans.
