I love triple crown tournaments, I think they are organized much better than our "local" org, but this is what holds them back...

Here is the whole message:
The following changes have been made to the TCS World Series registration process.
The TCS World Series will be an open qualification event. Each state has been assigned a team quota for every age division. Your team will be entered into the event based on the following criteria:
1. Payment in Full
Early Registration - $775 ( now - December 15th )
Mid Registration - $TBD ( Dec 16th – Feb 28th )
Late Registration - $TBD ( after Feb 28th )
2. Availability based on the individual state’s team quota (check Who’s Coming list in the forms section of web site)
3. Verification of lodging with a Triple Crown approved lodging partner
Teams must validate their entry into the World Series by meeting local state validation procedures. Contact the following Triple Crown staff to find out what your local validation procedures are:

2. If a team chooses to stay at an unapproved lodging partner, then they will be charged an additional $300 to enter the event.
3. Teams will NOT be entered in the event until lodging with an Approved Lodging partner has been verified.

Seems they were stepping through the door left opened by ASA's failings... and so now, chasing a better bottom line, they decide it's time to start turning the screws, (while simultaneously devaluing their product?)
It just opens the door for someone else to step in in the near future. Eventually some group will come along and really do it right. Err... probably not.

I agree anon. They definately put on a better tournament and give you information quicker and faster then ASA. Oh wait, they actually give you information. lol
I still beleive that being the last year of the contract in Park City they are trying to corrupt the bottom line and make it more attractive to potential host cities.
