What is covered for the athletic on an Official visit and how does the parent
tag along? Does the parent rent a car, provide hotel stay?

Not sure how the experience varies from school to school but I was only "on my own" for the plane ticket. I stayed at the hotel with dd (actually had the room to myself one night when she bunked with a player). No rental car was needed as we rode with the coaches. Don't think I bought a meal either.

If only nationals could be that painless.

If I choose to, I will try and remember the trip is for DD, She is going into medicine so she will have to like this place for a looooooooong time. I am looking forward to watching the Round-Ball team play, Too bad the football team is away that weekend.

Is it against the rules for dd to stay the night with a player from the team if on an unofficial?

Is it against the rules for her to spend the night with a player that plays a different sport?
