Concur on the Pilsner Urquell.

One of my in-laws works for Stone Brewery and one especially hot September afternoon he brought over a travel jug of a special mixture they had put together of their Pale Ale and a seasonal summer brew.

Now I'm definitely more of a rum guy (Flor de Cana from Nicaragua to be precise) but sometimes there is nothing better than a beer. This was one of those days...

Yes, Stone Brewery has an excellent IPA. Good brew.

Excellent choice with Arrogant Bast

Had one called Dead Guy Ale(wash?) when we were in Park City- see it now and again at Trade Joes

Try the Dogfish IPA if you ever get the chance- it is something special

Lots of nice craft beers out their-

Cottrells and Mystic Bridge IPA from Stonington,CT are also very good

There is also a Green Monsta IPA in this area as well

Ah, yes, Park City.... had a beer there with an interesting name:
Polygamy Porter, it was pretty good.

I wanted to get the t-shirt, the wife said no.

Team parents hung out at the No Name Saloon while the team ate at the Tex Mex place across the street- gotta love Park City!!

In Socal there is a nice Micro brew Co. called Hanger 55, they have an orange wheat that is very good. Of course maybe it is a Socal thing, you know,,fruit and brew.
Spaz perhaps you can take a step off of that bourbon and enjoy a Glenlivet 12yr scotch. JD has to get those barrels from somewhere.

I think you have that backwards. JD makes their own barrels and then after use breaks them down and ships them to other distillers, both here and abroad.

Bourbon Barrels are sought out by Scotch Wisky and French Cognac producers(Even though JD is not "officially" a Bourbon-not made in Kentucky, it's still made the same way)

My Dad calls it "looking" Bourbon because he thinks it is too expensive to drink. I think it is 128 proof
