As of last weekend, Season is over for me Seminars and training and rooms full of ugly umpires, day-old donuts, and lukewarm coffee through feb, then I get back on the field with HS tournies

Rancho Cucamonga - winds blowing west so the big fire wont come into play (though Sam Ford Synergy base camp is SCV and they are cut off from the south by freeway closures...).

LL that is a lot of talent in one park. Did anyone call any D-1 scouts to let them know the softball future of America will all be playing on one field this weekend. Between you and Spazsdad I think we should be able to get all the results from these games, what do you think

I will have to have DW relay the scores to me. I will be manning the bbq at younger DD's friendly.
The fires have gotten pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised if some areas cancel their games. I'M in Long Beach,at least 30 miles from the nearest fire and everything is covered in ash. Attached is a pic from my window that otherwise would be a sunny day.

I don't see any one playing in so cal on Sunday the place is going up in smoke. I have the Sylmar fire to the west of me and the Corona fire to the east. The air here is pretty bad right now.
