Fellow Employees,

As CEO, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our president and that taxes and fees are going to increase in a big way over the next four years. To compensate, we would need to raise our prices about 10%, but due to the dismal state of the economy we are unable to do so. Therefore, it will be necessary to lay off sixty employees. This has been bothering me greatly, since I view all of us as one big family, and I have been struggling trying to decide whose jobs should go.

After some intense soul searching I decided to do the following. On Monday of this past week, I walked through the parking lot and found sixty cars with Obama bumper stickers. I have decided that these employees will be the ones to be let go. I can’t think of a more fair way to resolve this problem – they voted for change and I will give it to them.

I will see the rest of you at our upcoming annual picnic.
