Also, if they did get beat, please tell the heybucket world how? Out pitched, out hit, errors, combination, etc.?

Sure a lot of questions by someone who thinks fall tournaments mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING???

It sure was a lot of questions, cause even tho the fall tournaments do mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I just couldn't believe that the Wheatucky Hillbillies (Warriors) and Valpo Yuppies (Phoenix) combination (Aftermath) actually beat an established NWI White Sox 2000 ASA team. By the way, those questions were all never answered river rat. Enlighten us!

Dangerously close to bashing 12 year old girls

And what exactly is an "ASA Team"? Some teams use the terms "Elite" or "Gold", and I get that...well, not at 12s though. But to throw the term "ASA" in there makes no sense. Kinda like your apparent hatred for all things Valpo/Wheatfield/Aftermath related...it just doesn't make sense

Whatever...

I actually know some parents/kids on the aftermath and find all this bashing quite funny. Not everyone has the same goals as other teams and doesn't pretend to. Getting bashed for playing in b tournaments when that is all they have set out to do is bs. They aren't preaching they are the best, no one on that team is beating their chest saying they went to an Asa national. The end point of this is... All the so called top level teams in NWI are upset because they have been beaten by a team that plays just to play. They want to play b, they are good at it. They might win and they might lose. But at least they aren't pretending to be someone they are not. This is a team full of multi sport athletes and the Aftermath schedule and less pressure allows those kids to excel in all those areas.

For those of you who complain about the watered down area in NWI... Shouldn't you be praising the aftermath for combining talent on 2 teams? Rumor was last year a coach form the bulldogs was trying to pull the top players from NWI sox and bulldogs and start a powerhouse team for the area.. It fell through. Another team does that, has some success and gets bashed for it. Why aren't you asking the bulldogs why they keep playing up when they can't win a 12u tournament? Why don't you ask the NWI sox why they couldn't land the top talent from the aftermath after pursuing them last year. Ego's and bragging rights. If you get beat at 14 u playing up you get praised for pushing your players. If you get beat at playing your age group reality sets in and your smoke screen is gone. You can't land some of the top players from the area to round out your team because your reputation precedes you. If you are going to start bashing people, lets be fair and call everyone out.

But someone was beating on there chest likitornot.I think there is a lot of unnecessary bashing going on that's for sure but I think the problem lies with this registered a verses b thing.if you merge with 2 teams and phoenix as 10s got second in world series that team shouldn't be allowed to go beat up these b teams let's face it a lot of these teams are just all star teams and it's really not fair to them.if nsa is going to allow these teams to play b they should just all together throw out classifications.

I know you all are having fun or should I say some of you are having fun on here but please don't mention peoples name or bash kids or their teams on here. Have some fun try to keep it positive and constructive is all I ask. You all know the old saying "Do to others as you would have them do to you" live by it

Notre Dame got their mascot from Cathedral High School. Cathedral High School may be one of the most hated schools in the state, they are the definition of the term "cheatin Catholics".

I would say the state is pretty evenly divided between the big three, Notre Dame, IU, and Butler :o

CP Bulldogs 2000, looks like you are in at the HSE Cancer Awareness. The field just got a little more competitive.

Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing you all down here!

CPBulldogfan, if you're still in Cali, just drive East...you can make it in time...

Likeitornot you stated "If you are going to start bashing people, lets be fair and call everyone out." Fair?? You make a statement like this and you hide behind a screen name? go figure!! Then you state "Why don't you ask the NWI sox why they couldn't land the top talent from the aftermath after pursuing them last year. Ego's and bragging rights." What are you talking about? If you are referring to two players that came to our 12u tryout in August that I offered roster spots to, what is wrong with that? They declined, and I never contacted them again, it is their choice to choose whatever team they wish to play on. I have read that I know more about this team than I am letting on?? Give me a break, I couldn't name one player on your team!! You bash 12u teams that play a few tournaments up at the 14u level, why? If you have an older 12u team some of the coaches focus should be on preparing these 2000's for that 14u age! In five months that is where they will be!
I have never bashed your team for playing B division, I could care less, you guy's should do what you need to do!! Play 10u for all I care!
You really think that your team is the only 12U team in NWI that has multi-sport athletes? Really? We have volleyball, basketball, cheerleaders, dancers, and think a couple of my players are on the hop scotch team!! So What!! Their 12 years old they should be playing more than one sport!
My daughter and I have five teams going right now, everyone of those teams is very competitive in their own age levels, none of them are allowed to play B level, that is just our preference! Everyone of those teams have multi sport players. We have our hands full trying to develop these 65 kids to be strong high school players and hopefully play this game that we love into college.
I think you are the one on the EGO trip!! IMO any 12U team can beat any other 12U on any given day. So What! You win some you lose some!! Move On!! Lets see where these kids will be in the coming years! Hopefully all will live their softball dream!

I was thinking the same things before Bake wrote them. This is my first post ever so don't be too rough on me. How does playing Class B make it easier to be a multi-sport athlete? Let's say a travel team does 10 or so outdoor tournaments starting in mid-April or early May. Playing basketball in the winter or volleyball in the fall might cut into some missed practices for a child, but these tournents all fall on weekends during spring and summer with some offseason tournaments thrown into the mix, and virtually all the offseason tournaments are open sign up anyway. So if a team decides to play a class B outdoor schedule, the only thing that changes is who they are playing, not when they are playing. Am I missing something here?

I would find it very hard to believe that Bake's team "pursued" players from another team. I do not have a child playing in 12U, but I am friends with some of the parents on this team and know for a fact that they don't even guarantee roster spots to their current players until tryouts are completed. There are area teams who will play this game and try to recruit players off of other teams during the season, but am certain this is not one of them. It's not that large of a community and it is widely known which teams play this game and which ones don't.

I think you are all fricking nuts! Stop worrying about stupid stuff and lets just let the girls play ball without stupid parent drama! Who cares who plays for what team and what facility they play in and if they are A or B. Seriously people get a life!
