Should we send out an amber alert for cpbulldogfan. Havent seen any signs of him/her. After this past weekend I see why they dont travel south of "The Region" very often.

seriously doubt any feelings hurt! We were able to get you guys this time, but sure it will go the other way plenty too! Good luck this weekend, may come down to you and Crush 2000. Be good to see some of the other teams as well. I hear Xtreme 00 should be pretty good as well. Go get um and GO GATORS!!!

No trolling friend.... If you are thinking my daughter is on the Gators 2000 team, sorry... no dice (never has/ never will), I would never do that to my daughter, no way!!! I've seen that big mess time and time again. I think 10GatorCoach was assuming he knew who I was, which it really doesn't matter.

Nice try GoldElite. Seems your investigative skills are extraordinary, lol. Regardless who everyone is on here, it's mostly about two things:
1) starting controversy, debate, discussion, or whatever you want to call it
2) laughing at the people who take this stuff to seriously.

Since you are apparently new to the forum, you will get a free pass this time.

Now, to the topic. And to correct comegetsome, it's plural...top teams.

It's very apparent that Indy Crush 2000 has it together right now. And I'm not sure there is a close second at this time. Although there are some teams out there who will get stronger and could eventually challenge them.

I think the 3 teams from the Region who played at HSE this weekend are out of the discussion for now (both CP teams and Aftermath). They have a lot of work to do. That leaves the following teams: (these aren't rankings)

1) IN Magic Gold - I would like to see more of this team. From what I hear, they have a really good pitcher and a few big bats. Anyone know how their Spring is looking.
2) NWI Whitesox '01 and '00 - everyone knows they always have a quality program with good coaching. I saw the '01s play at Sport Zone and liked what I saw. Anyone know how they are looking?
3) IN Gators '01 Carver - This team surprised a lot of people last weekend, myself included. They have had a major overhaul from the Fall. But it looks like they still know how to win.
4) Gators '00 - This team really surprises me too. But for opposite reasons. On paper, they have a good team. Pretty decent pitching with some big bat potential. Probably weak on the bases. But they just can't seem to not have the one or two bad innings that cost them the game.
5) Indy Diamond Chix - the only regional 12u team to put a mark in the L column for Indy Crush. But they were torn up in their next two attempts agains the Crush team. I see this team as having the potential to beat anyone. They have a good starting pitcher, 2 big bats, and some scrappy '01s. If they get good draws and don't make too many mistakes, this team could finish top 3 every weekend.
6) Hoosier Crush - I still like this team. Registered as a B in NSA. But capable of competing with most A's.

I know there are many more teams in northern and southern Indiana. I doubt they will compete with Indy Crush. But would enjoy someone's perspective on them.
