pretty good job GT, i always enjoy reading your rankings, and for the most part dead on. I might shift some heavy weights but its still too early. ALSO, keep in mind several bay area teams STILL will be playing without their HS kids due to a couple sections still cant figure out how to complete season before Memorial weekend.

Lastly, AASA teams are not hiding, do you really think Brian/Mario are going to be ok with one of their teams playing in another tournament.

99's Love....By 99Nor Cal

For what was left of the 14's that didn't play in 16's or elsewhere, the gold and silver brackets included who you would expect in both of them.

In Gold bracket, Grapettes-Bilbao won it, as you noted. Over NorCal Bandits in the championship game.

Foothill Gold 99 and Crossfire in third. USA Elite 99 and Bears in fifth.

Grapettes-Kappmeyer, All-American Mizuno, Roseville Heat 99, and others all made Gold but were knocked out earlier in the day.

Breeze 99 was in Triple Crown in Irvine. Two game pool into two game double elim. Lost both in bracket play.

Thank YOU 99Nor Cal!!!!

FYI RR99 went 8-0 for the RR Memorial Showcase in 16's and played very good while rotating everyone. :o They also took 2nd place in the SoCal Athletics Mother's Day Classic tournament to the BatBusters. Sounds like an average NorCal team to me ;)

We played everyone that was in the other dugout just like every other tournament that's played in every city. :o

And so you should. It doesn't matter who is in the other dugout. Granted, on weaker teams you can do some different things with your line-up and on stronger teams you knuckle down a bit more. But the one fact still remains, you play to win every game regardless of who your competitor is. If you don't....then why play!

Just sayin :o :o
