12u Fall tryouts-Who are favorites & sleepers going forward?

by screwballz22 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 2:36 pm

The quote below cracks me up. Let me start by saying all I know about 12u is what I have read on HB. That said like most I lived through 12s and I to woke up every Monday and checked the bucket for rankings.

texmex45 wrote:Agreed newASA, just not a big enough sample size yet to put any credibility into any rankings. Louie nailed the top four, as LTG, Gold, OBS & Breeze are all off to fast starts, though the order can and probably will be debated in the near future. Spartans are solid as usual, and watch out for Mizuno-Stewart. He has lost some players but has retooled with a few good additions. They can beat anyone on the list on any given day.

Only 2 tournaments in with teams spread everywhere so we can't get an idea of where teams are at but look at us!!!! My kid plays for Mizuno Stewart and by my comments / new user name must be one of the few new good additions. Note to Tex Mex, if you have to ask to be looked at, nobody cares.

texmex45 wrote: TC has been a major underachiever thus far. By mid-October, things should sort themselves out a bit.

Even though we haven't played much at all everything will sort it self out next week. I don't like TC because A. they didn't pick up my daughter or B. someone important from my team left to go there and because I am still pissed about A or B or both I will say this new start up team is a major underachiever after 2 tourneys played.

It's kinda like being a parent and listening to your child say something stupid. You just gotta laugh and think yep I was there once to.

Good luck to you all enjoy 12s they will be driving before you know it.

Hey Ballz, relax and go change your shorts. This is all just discussion and debate. If you are going to pee your pants whenever you disagree with something on HB, you are going to be very unhappy.

Am I a Mizuno-Stewart parent.....nope. Did my kid get cut by TC....nope. Lost anybody to TC.....wrong again. You are 0 for 3, but like your post anyway. If you are a TC parent, believe me, no offense was intended. The one thing that you said that made sense (and believe me, the ONLY thing) was that we are only 2 stinking tournaments into the fall. Well done! :o

Sorry Tex didn't know I would hit such a nerve with my comments. You r obviously very protective about keeping your identity quiet on your Mizuno Team. If history repeats and your team is any good you will need a new screen name come Spring. Nobody worth a crap stays at KJ's long. You will soon find out why.

Like I said I know nothing about 12u my daughter is older and we have been gone from 12s for a while. I just thought your comment was funny, that you can't tell how anyone is doing but the TC team is underachieving. TC Smash has always had pretty good teams and normally represent well. The heart of that org has a bunch of great people. Any start up team takes time, a few tourneys won't tell you a thing let alone a fall season. Give them a year and let me know where they are at.

As I said before good luck to you and your girls they only stay 12 for a bit.

Ballz.......I think you'd better stick to an age group that you are familiar with. TC is not the Smash, it is Team California, so I guess my comment is a little less funny than it was. You didn't strike any nerve, I just like screwing with morons that think they know what's going on. I know nothing about the 12U AA Mizuno team other than I do admire how they have been knocked on their ass a few times and just keep coming at you. I have no affiliation (look up the definition) with Mizuno and probably never will. That does not mean I can't give them props. May I suggest that you put your HS diploma to better use than posting nonsense on HB.

Sunday performances should dictate how teams are looking. Got some of the top teams in Roseville this weekend that should tell a lot. Throw Saturdays out since coaches wanting to look good and get a HB ranking are playing and hitting best 9 while coaches working to be good are hitting most of roster and giving kids opportunities. Got to be undefeated in pool play as kids ride the pine!

Just assumed TC was Smash that’s the first thing I think of when I hear TC.

Mizuno DAD take 2 seconds to stop trying to defend yourself and your team and you might grasp why your comments struck me as funny.

Let me help simplify it for you by taking the team names out which will help remove your emotions.

Team A, B, C, D are the front runners (I would guess because they have been together the longest) yet it is to early to get an idea what anyone is really doing. Look at team E though they are doing great. By the way team F is underachieving.

You generalize the top teams and all other teams; even admit that it is really too early to tell what everyone is doing. Then you come up with look at team E because you clearly can see they are better yet according to what has been written they haven’t won anything yet. Then you single out one team in the entire age group, team F and say they are underachieving.

If you had no personal attachment to team E and no axe to grind team F you would not have created a user name to bring the two teams up. This sure sounds to me like Nanner Nanner Nanner Naner team E is out performing team F

Then your follow up statement is about how you admire the Mizuno girls for overcoming every thing they have had thrown at them and they just keep coming at you. Now you sound like Naner Naner we are over coming what you have done to us....

As they would say on NFL Countdown C’mon Man!!!!
It’s ok to be proud of you team. I am sure you have always posted and supported them and now that you have your new name on HB you can support your new team too.

Ballz.....when you assume, well, you know what they say. Well, you probably don't. Just when I thought you couldn't possibly make any less sense, you have topped your previous post. I obviously overestimated when I commented about that HS diploma. What are you talking about? That has to be the most incoherent (yes, you'll have to look that one up too) post that I have ever read. If that's the best you got, then you need to move on to a different thread where your ignorance might be more tolerated. Good luck with that. You'll never know how wrong you are....but then again, my guess is you are used to it.

Who cares who your DD plays for. Who has rankings of some sort? Breeze did well this past weekend. Whose playing where this weekend?

Just so everyone understands:

The first rule of Nor Cal 12U Fall Ball Rankings Fight Club is that you do not talk about Nor Cal 12U Fall Ball Rankings Fight Club.

At last, a post that makes sense and brings this thread back to its intended purpose. Thanks new ASA!

The Breeze, FH Gold and AA Mizuno-Stewart will be in Roseville. Unfortunately, LTG and OBS will not, so all questions won't get answered just yet, but hopefully these teams will lock horns this Sunday and play some good ball.
