Well he did say, "Cop didn't see it...I didn't do it".

I appreciate George's creativity and irreverence, regardless of whether I agree with everything he said.

Here's one for you BW and JR - Airport Security

I love the airport security, but it was before 9/11

I saw carlin live at my college in 1986 during " a place for my stuff".

I don't always agree with his politics, but find his humor great. He has a heat gift of pointing out what we already knew but did not realize.

No actually...the ammo has been purchased...Everyone's been dodging that at Congressional inquiries
Der Dear Leader said in his 1st campaign he wanted a Civil Defense Force, every bit as well armed and well funded as the US Military...WTH?

...and 2800 new MRAPS ordered...Theyre made about 100 miles from me...

The ammo is requisitioned over a few years. FHA has 12 mrats it has had since 2008. Some 2700 are being "modified" for police use. Those are going to local and state police. A vast majority of mrats are being scrapped

Everybody has got to calm down

You're buying a load of crap. I've reviewed some of the RFPs and provided a link to the accounting for 3 of the years.

 You really shouldn't be so trustful when people post snippets without its context. It's a favorite ploy of both extremes to fire up their faithful. Seriously, do a web search to find out the whole story. Here's one with the context of the snippet - http://www.factcheck.org/2008/11/obamas-national-security-force/.

Proposing an armed civilian force at a presidential campaign stop doesn't pass the smell test. Democrats would have nominated Hillary if Obummer had actually proposed that on July 2. It certainly would have gotten press before Rep Broun mischaracterized it as a Gestapo force 4 months later on the eve of the election.

That would have been great, however that's not what I said. Try again...

If true, someone would have made an issue of it and the press, left and right, would have picked up on that.

Amen...
As far as factcheck.org...I rank them right up there with snopes...and the National Enquirer...and the morbidly obese Jamaican psychic chick.
MRAP's...being re-done?...Do you forget who I just retired from?

The Civilian Army thing wasn't a snippet...You tell me why he needs that?
Obama could be on video playing the knock-out game on elderly old cracker ladies and using puppies to hit them with...and some folks would say its the puppies and Bush's fault

People on both sides that simply believe anything that appeals to their viewpoint instead of questioning and considering everything are easily manipulated. They're both drinking kool-aid, just different flavors.

I'm certainly no Obummer fan - I never voted for him and believe he's the least qualified to become president in modern history. There's more than enough factual reasons to malign him without fabricating crap.
