8th Grader clocked 66+ at OnDeck camp

What's on your mind?

by PDad » Thu Jan 09, 2014 11:46 am

OnDeck Softball ran a camp last Friday in Chicago. Here's what they tweeted (https://twitter.com/ondecksoftball)

"2018 West Virginia P Montana Fouts explodes on National scene today in Chicago. Tall and lanky. Throws gas. 66+. Major talent from East"

Last summer, she played on the Thunder Elite '00 team from OH that finished 5th at ASA/USA 12U Nats. She's now on the Birm TBolts '99 team.

I read it yesterday. Was there something specific in the article that led you to that conclusion?

Possibly, although that was last summer's team.

I really want to hear Sam's answer.

The article states:

"She plays on two different, top-notch traveling teams.........“We practice five days a week and keep getting better,”............ “She’s very athletic and she works all year round. You can tell the girls who do that, and she pitches just about every day.”

Very good - these are all valid points for concern and pointing them out is much more informative than "Read this."
