18 Gold Classification tourney is on the way

All the games were pushed back due to the rain but the sun was finally shining in So Cal and the games started today at 4:00 PM

So far

Corona Express beat RBI Monarchs and needs one more game to classify
Fillys Gold beat So Cal Virtue and will face off with Corona Express Sunday at 3:00 PM

Teamsmith beat OC Impact and will play Strike Force Gold, winner will classify

Sudden Impact-Skip beat San Diego Elite and will play the winner of the OC Elite Navy and the So Cal Spirit game. That game is going on right now.

Minors Gold is winning 6 -0 in the 4th or 5th

Minors Gold wins and Synergy wins, they will play each other at 4:45 on Sunday to see who gets classified and who goes to the dreaded losers bracket.

I went and watched a few Gold games today

Fillys are classified

Jets beat Mizuno USA and then played the winner of USA Athletics vs Case Batbusters

USA Athletics beat Case Batbusters

Jets go up on USA Athletics 13-0 in the first inning. The Athletics faught back and put 9 runs on the board. It was a exciting game to watch. I am not positive but I think that was the final, Jets 13 USA Athletics 9 Jets Classified and no it was not a slow pitch game.

Nemesis Elite had to play an extra game they beat Pacific Coast Predators, Strike Force-Jim and when I left they were beating Courage 4-2 late in the game

The teams that won their first game and lost their second games will continue next weekend to try to classify.

Lot of pressure on these teams to get their Gold Classification and great games to watch

Does anyone have a final list of who classified? I noticed on the SC ASA site that the list was incomplete.
