What's on your mind?

by TexasYellowBall » Tue Feb 17, 2009 3:53 pm

I have been trying to find videos of MLB players batting. I thought there were a few on hey bucket, but i can not find them.

Any MLB will work, but Bustos would be great.

Thanks for the help

MLB is very protective over their video's, but I have a few:

Bonds, with commentary (orange arrow): http://www.usatoday.com/sports/gallery/bonds/flash.htm

Griffey- http://home.mindspring.com/~rmk/griffey_ken.mpeg

Best site of all, Siggy's. Bustos is under "Fastpitch" in the bottom left corner- http://imageevent.com/siggy/hitting;jsessionid=l8a194h5f1.tiger_s

I was going to say Siggys hitting Clips, but I see they took down the MLB ... but google it ... still some good stuff there ...

That Bonds video is great....Especially with Tony Gwynn talking you through step by step.....2 of the top hitters of all time in my opinion!

I believe that MLB made all users of MLB video clips delete them, pay for their use or receive a phone call from thier lawyers. I had seen one (had it in my "favorites") of Barry Bonds (steroids=bad, his swing=very good) that you could slow down and even click screen by screen to view. It was very good for analyzing body position every step of the way and for showing kids what they should be working towards (minus the steroids). Shame that MLB has taken away these great teaching tools. :(
