Now, I would have to say Bob Marley - Legend. Most of those songs still cover a lot of the same topics that we go through now. I never get tired of listening to it & now my kids are all into it, they think they are so cool, because after the movie Legend came out all their friends would play the few songs from the movie & they turned their friends onto the rest from that cd (no more albums).
There are others, but I will stick to the criteria, but Led Zepplin 4, is hard not to put in here.
Legend is actually a posthumously released compilation album, lest I'm mistaken. Great album though.

I too have to go with Prince, but my favorite album of all time is Sign O the Times. Double album, with some awesome party and baby making music on both cds. Oh yeah.
