Best Soundtrack

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.
Keep it reasonable.

I'm actually getting suggestions for some topics like these, all of which I will eventually post, but I'm posting this one first before I forget it.

What is the best motion picture soundtrack album?

Bonus Prize (if you can call it a prize): I'll buy a beer (or drink of choice) for the first person who guesses my personal favorite.

Caveat: gotta be local (LA/OC area).

Caveat 2: If Qwikvr or any of the other really close friends I've made on here win, it'll have to be at an airport bar or somewhere else that involves metal detectors, pat-downs, cavity searches and the like.

Oooh...nice pick. Better throw "Moving in Stereo" into the burgeoning "baby-making" category in the other thread.

Remember The Titans
Dazed and Confused
Forrest Gump
agree with Fast Times, at least "Moving in Stereo" by The Cars...all the guys know why!
"Doesn't anyone f&$*%ing knock?"
haha, just noticed Skarpy thought the same thing...see what I mean?
"Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were"...

This is a tough one, because there are a lot of movies that have great music in it, but they are not on the soundtrack.

Dead President's
Grosse Point Blank - for music during movie, but the actual soundtrack was a little weak

Most obvious, if it counts: Pink Floyd The Wall

I thought about it, but never went back to add it. Thought I had you on the movie though. It was between that and Pink Floyd's "The Wall".

Yeah, I considered disqualifying The Wall, Tommy, et al, but this is just a "favorites," so anything goes.

Grosse Poing Blanke...great film.

#1 Rocky Horror Picture Show (rock)

#2 Valley Girl (new wave)

#3 The Big Chill (classics)

3 different genres...

The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
