Before you sign with a team.....check out our team first! Who cares if you sign, you can still switch teams at an time if it's a better fit, right?

What are you talking about??? :?: :?: :?:

Are you asking if your DD joins a team now, can she leave and move to another team later? the answer is yes, right up until the final roster is signed which isn't for several months.
My daughter is perfect, she knows everything. Just ask her.

Bomb Squad over SC Pride
SD Legacy over SC Pride
SC Pride over Knuckleheads

SC Pride put on a great 11 team friendly, well organized and a terrific snack bar!

Yes, Lefty that is what I'm asking! But what happens if you switch after the final roster is signed?

Then it all depends on which org. (ASA, USFA, etc.) you are playing in and if both teams are playing in the same org. If the teams are not going the same route then it doesn't matter at all. If they are both going ASA or USFA or whatever then someone else better answer that, I don't want to give the wrong nformation.

After the final roster is done, as long as the former team is still active in ASA play, DD can not go to another team that is active in ASA play. DD can play for teams not in ASA tournaments.

This past summer, players that left teams still playing ASA (Regional, Nationals, etc.) went to teams doing the Triple Crown events.

Some will claim that there are ways to get around this. We tried last year, and ASA would not allow it.

I was told the only way a team could hold a player from joining another team is if they owe money & or equipment to the team they are leaving.

I also heard that if you built your team around a single player such as a pitcher you may have a case. In 18gold I heard of kids (pitchers) who played & helped thier teams get the berth, then the coach decides to bring in a 1st year college pitcher to the big show & now the kid can not go to another team that may need her for the big show. Kinda sucks......
