too funny GIMNEPIWO
It's better to keep your mouth shut and look like you're stupid......
than to open it and remove all doubt.

...So I tell them I was a pro jock and who do you think they give me? None other than the Dali Lama himself.....So I say, Hey! Lama! How about a little something for the effort! He says, "oh, it won't be money but when you die, on your deathbead, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that going for me, which is nice.

There was a time in my life when I could recite that whole monologue verbatim.

Oh yeah, having just seen my own post I remembered another one.

"Again, with the negative waves Moriarty!"

How about Anchorman:

Veronica to Ron: "Oh Ron, there are literally thousands of other men that I should be with instead, but I am 72 percent sure that I love you." :o

That's from Forest Gump. Unless there's an equivalent scene in Waterboy.

From Biloxi Blues:

Rowena: What's your name, honey?
Eugene Morris Jerome: It's Eug...
Rowena: Huge?
Eugene Morris Jerome: It's a HUGE name. It's Jack Bobby Lou Mulgreevey.
Rowena: Where you from, Bobby Lou?
Eugene Morris Jerome: [affecting a Southern accent] "Texarkana...”
Rowena: Is that Arkansas or Texas?
Eugene Morris Jerome: Arkansas, I think...
Rowena: You think?
Eugene Morris Jerome: Well, I was just born there. When I was two we moved to Georgia.
Rowena: You a cracker?
Eugene Morris Jerome: What's a cracka?
Rowena: Someone from Georgia.
Eugene Morris Jerome: Oh. Yeah, I'm a cracka...
[Rowena has divested herself of most of her clothing and is on the bed; beckons to Eugene]
Rowena: All right, now... come to mama.
Eugene Morris Jerome: [petrified] Please, don't say...”come to mama."

1st poster: Are you suggesting rise balls defy gravity?
King Poster: Not at all. They could be carried by air currents.
1st poster: What? A girl throwing a rise ball?
King Poster: She could grip it by the seams!
1st poster: It's not a question of where she grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A hundred fifty five pound girl could not throw a .41 pound rise ball.
King Poster: Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that King Poster from the Court of Hey Bucket is here?
1st poster: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a rise ball would need to beat its seams forty-three times every second, right?
King Poster: Please!
1st poster: Am I right?

King2 poster: I fart in the general direction of your rise ball! You mother was a hamster and your father smelt of eldeberries.

And please don't make me combat you further wiiiiiiiiiiiiith.......... a SHRUBBERY!

More Anchorman:

Veronica Corningstone: For the entire Channel 4 news team, I'm Veronica Corningstone.
Ron Burgundy: And I'm Ron Burgundy. Go f&%k yourself, San Diego.

Brian Fantana: [about Veronica] I'll give this little cookie an hour before we're doing the no-pants dance. Time to musk up.
[opens cologne cabinet]
Ron Burgundy: Wow. Never ceases to amaze me. What cologne you gonna go with? London Gentleman, or wait. No, no, no. Hold on. Blackbeard's Delight.
Brian Fantana: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
Ron Burgundy: It's quite pungent.
Brian Fantana: Oh yeah.
Ron Burgundy: It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.
Brian Fantana: Yep.

Ron Burgundy: 1001, 1002, 1003.
Veronica Corningstone: Uh, Mr. Burgundy? Helen said that you needed to see me.
Ron Burgundy: Oh, Miss Corningstone. I wasn't expecting company. Just doing my workout. Tuesday's arms and back.
Veronica Corningstone: Well, you asked me to come by, sir.
Ron Burgundy: Oh, did I?
Veronica Corningstone: Yes.
Ron Burgundy: Ohh, it's the deep burn. Oh, it's so deep. Oh, I can barely lift my right arm 'cause I did so many. I don't know if you heard me counting. I did over a thousand.

and only about every other line in that movie...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
