An Appeal to Heybuckets Generosity

I know this has nothing to do with Softball. But, there is a new Pony Baseball League that formed in a low income area of Los Angeles. They are: The Metropolitan Pony Baseball League! www.leaguelineup.com/metrobaseball

Their League President has paid thousands of dollars out of his own pocket to start up this league. Unfortunately, after collecting their registration fees, they were robbed on their way to the bank, at gun point. They are in desperate need of our help.

If you are or have ties to any league that has old equipment or just want to donate cash, please contact the league president at the link provided above. They need equipment bags, bats, gloves, or anything that would help them begin their season with dignity! They have Shetland (6U), Pinto (8U), Mustang (10U), Bronco (12U) and Pony (14U) level players.

Their League President told one of our directors at Hart that many of their players bring their equipment to practices in brown paper grocery bags. They had to cancel their opening day because they now do not have money for their uniforms.
