The Texas Kaos and the Texas Thunder went 2 and out.

The Texas Bandits were host team and did not play.

A lot of really good games with the Texas Aces going undeafeated to take top honors for this tournament.

Congratulations to the Aces.

Interesting weekend in Pearland. Saw the FB Thunder get runruled. Have not seen them play this year, so not much to go by, but was not inpressed by that performance. I heard the lost the next game as well.
Suprised by Kaos going 2 and out as well.

I think the finish was as follows:

Aces
Ice 96
Riptide
High Voltage 97

Very interesting to see how many teams are coming together in this short amount of time. FB Thunder run ruled by Ice 96 and then put out by Houston Power. Kaos was put in the losers bracket by Tx Crush and not sure who put them out. High Voltage showed to be a real scrappy team, this was the first time I have seen them play.

The Money tourney should be very interesting.

Aces admit a good draw. Okay, unbelievable draw! But everybody gets one eventually so let it go!

I saw FB Thunder heading to the parking lot Sunday afternoon so I am pretty sure they won a game or two. Not sure who all they played, but did see a little when they did beat Kaos Saturday night to send them home and it was a good game. Thunder claimed to be missing a couple players this weekend ???

I expected more out of Kaos. They had a couple of tough losses for sure. They played a couple of good teams in a couple of good games and just did not get a break. Not their weekend.

Ice had some knew faces and looked solid. Should somebody be checking for altered birth certificates? (10U Showstoppers were not legit) Assuming they don't try to pull that again this Ice team is shaping up to be a decent looking team, and as always with some quesionable tactics.

Riptide also had a great weekend and had a pretty good draw themselves. Did not get to see them play, but looking at the bracket I would not have expected any less.

97High Voltage appears to be surfacing as the team to beat in their 97 age group.

What happed to the Red Hots that were giving the 96 teams a fit all Fall?
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
