Question about earned run

Well the catchers dad marked it in his book as a wild pitch.
The pitchers dad put it in his book as a passed ball.
The hitters dad put it in his book as an RBI
and the runners dad put it in his book as a stolen base

Close, The catchers dad is one of the HS coaches, the pitchers dad put it in his book as E2, the hitters dad put it same as the pitchers dad IE: travel ball dad watching a HS game, runners dad put it as E2 IE, travel ball dad....... Head HS coach says they are earned runs. Im in agreement with the explanation of any runner scoring after the dropped strike 3 that any run score after that is consider unearned even if 2 more batters came up after the dropped k and hit HR is unearned because the inning should have been over............. Any thoughts on that?

I saw the pitch in question. Perfect change up and a called strike three (third out). Catcher never moved her glove, looked like the ball just spun out of the mitt. Should be no question as to how the runs are scored.

Cost the team a 2-1 ballgame. Pitcher did a great job and really deserved that win.

These guys don't know the scoring guidelines for softball (much less baseball).

A passed ball is not an error. And regardless of how R1 got to 3rd, the defense was given the opportunity for a third out (called third strike with 2 outs, for starters). All F2 had to do was catch the ball.

Unearned run and a strike out for the pitcher even though the out was not recorded. The catcher made an error by not catching the third strike.

Yes, they are all unearned because the third out should have been made in that inning and the inning should be over.

Unless there is a pitching change, the new pitcher would be on the hook for any earned runs allowed.

I don't think so, if the first pitcher had runners on that were NOT the result of an error, runners on base that score while new pitcher is on the mound belong to the first pitcher. Right?

Yes that pitcher is responsible and charged with any runs that were scored with runners on base when she left, and they would be unearned. However, if the pitcher gives up a homerun to the first batter she faces, that is an earned run charged to the new pitcher
