12u rankings NorCal

by BB12 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 10:49 am

sorry man, my mistake, you were the person asking about the other Grapes team (Boone's Farm) and how these rankings are compiled.....

I usually dont drink on Tuesdays, but when I do its Modesto's finest T-Bird with a Keystone chaser, that mix can make a guy careless.....

Anyone qualified to put together a top 1-20 California ranking? I follow So Cal rankings and I have seen a few Nor Cal teams included in their top 10 but that was coming into spring. Have at it

How are the Sting ranked so high? They lost to a not very good Folsom Freedom team in pool play then got run ruled by them to be knocked out of the tourney on Saturday this past weekend. Then the Nuggets sent Freedom home packing quite easily Sunday morning. Sting may have had a good showing back in April but I haven't seen much of them since. After the top 5, its a free for all.

1. Grapettes -McNair
2. Lady Magic
3. Nuggets - Woods (except I haven't seen her in the dugout, not sure why her name's there  )
4. Sorcerers - Bigley
5. AASA - Mortimer
.

Did any of these 12u teams keep more than 3 players? Heard parents used the drive home to plan team hopping, um tryouts.
The portal is the 5 fwy now.

Lady Magic kept their whole team together. 12 out of 12 returned for the fall season............A combination of great kids, great parents and great coaching. The days of keeping teams together are very rare.
