I want to take some good action shots this season. My current camera is not good enough.

any suggestions of cameras for action shots?

I was thinking about spending around $500-$800.

I bought a Cannon EOS Rebel XT off ebay last year and it is a pretty good camera. I bought a package that included 2 lenses, a carry bag, tripod etc and spent around $550 or 600 as I recall. I believe it is 10 megapixel, they have ones that are 12 and higher also. It takes great action shots and also has auto focus and shutter speed.
