why are you people so hung up on the Tx Sting? They are verry good but i heard they finished third last weekend to the Impact and the Rage. it may have been a bad weekend for them but give the others a little credit. i heard the rage scored 10-12 runs on the sting and the Impact scored 5-6.

My Picks for the weekend in DP.
1. Kaos/Rage
2.
3. Anderson Express
4. Lady Stros
5. Tx Sting.

Alot will depend on the Draw.

I think the Sting had beat the TPS several times in the fall & early spring so folks are giving them some respect. ;) Ya, I herd the Sting got roughed up in SL last weekend by the Rage & Impact.

Why not give the Sting some respect? So they did not win last weekend, they did get in the top three. Why are you giving the Kaos a #1 :D No disrespect to them but I have not seen them winning any tourney's. Draw will have a lot to do with it, stamina even more.

This is what I have seen, as teams play through a tournament it depends on who they face and WHEN they have to face the better teams. If a team has a tougher road to the championship and use there top pitching to early they struggle to make it threw to the championship game. One of the only teams that I have seen with enough pitching to not matter what draw they get is the TPS. The rest of the so called top five or six teams have to be careful how they use there pitching. This is why it is great softball when two teams meet and both are playing well with both teams pitching there number one in a championship game to win a tournament. TPS is deeper in pitching than any 10u team in our area and it allows them to play deep in any tournament. Don't get me wrong TPS has more than just great pitching but the deep pitching puts them in good shape at most tournaments. As teams go threw the summer and players get seasoned the gap between TPS and the field will get smaller. It will be hard for TPS to win state with the big bull's-eye on there back and all the teams getting better by then. As of right now the rest of the field should be glad they are hosting and not playing. They are beatable but it will take a good team playing on all cylinders. :P

My picks for the weekend

1.98 Texas Sting (McKinney) / Alvin Rage 98 This would be a good match-up
2.
3.98 Lady Stros (Longoria) / Texas Kaos 98 (Trlicek) Another good match-up
4.
5.Does it really matter from here down ?

Hammer you are right on. Hey the Stros may win it all. I do believe the Sting will be there in the end and have as good a chance as anyone to win it all.

Anderson Express should be pretty solid. At least if you go by all of the USFA points they've earned.

Dont know anything about them. I hope they are all still coming now with this swine flu running around. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer out at the park and its a big open area so I see no need for anyone to be fearful. As a matter of fact I think everyone needs to go out and give it there best, just in case this might be the last big tournament for a while. WIth all the hype going on you never know what the cities might be thinking. Good luck to all this weekend. 8-)
