The sizes of PA deer that I hear about are incredible compared to Texas deer. Here they are all horns - to me, anything you cant put in a tortilla is worthless. 57 years old and I still havent killed one for the horns. So hard to chew.

That wasn't a deer you saw in Texas. It was a Texas mouse. I believe they are a bit smaller then a PA deer.

I have heard that Texas Cockaroachies are as big as small dogs ....

You heard right.

 Do they come when you call ?

Look, my daughter is a young cockroach and sometimes reads posts on this site so I would appreciate it if guys would have the common decency to watch what you say. Thank you.

Edited to add: Yes I know I've probably beaten this horse to death. No mas.

John ... sorry ... I'll try to watch the humor or lack thereof ... but I would like to point out if your DD understands any of the not so hidden innuendo in that conversation than she is old enough to read it ...

The dead horse I was referring to was me mocking the poster who wanted everyone to watch what they write because his kid reads this stuff. I do appreciate your civility and consideration. You're obviously a better man than I.

I, for one, couldn't care less if a kid reads any of the crap I write regardless of what words I use. Its Mommy and Daddies responsibility if they don't want Precious exposed to innuendo, potty mouth, etc. It sure as Hell isn't mine. Post whatever you want, using whatever language you're comfortable using. I don't give a Sh*t.

From now on I will try to remember to preface sarcastic posts with some type of indicator. Sometimes I have trouble telling if someone is being serious or poking fun. For the record, this post is not sarcasm.

So I logged about 600 miles today ... through VA and TN ... and it would seem that deer are smarter here than in PA ... but possums & coons still don't have a clue ... and Turkeys are down right clumsy ...
