That's Cal for ya. This is a forum on a computer ding dong. What has it got to do with USFA or ASA for that matter. I have already stated that I will never play USFA again and the league that we play out of is ASA so I'm good there. Keep your comments in Cal.

I believe this A - B topic has been beat to death and it appears nothing has been resolved from all the post. For A's playing down to B's just look at "Active topics" , "define a trophy hunting team."

Now to a topic we seem to have side tracked from. "National Tournments." We have Teams, both A&B (10u), from the Houston and surrounding areas that have a very good chance of winning both the usfa and asa. How long since that opportunity has been so close. Lets get excited about that.

The girls have worked to long and to hard to let other issues get in the way or side track the teams from completing a great season of Texas 10U softball.

So let's go coaches and parents get your focus back on the goal.

It's funny how much time and effort the Cali teams spend talking about TPS in their 10U??? thread considering the level of confidence they have. I don't think you'll find a Cali team named in this thread by a Texas poster

For the cali teams here's a run down on TPS... 8-)

1-4 hitters all left side slappers .244
5-6 power hitters going about .212
7-8 Slappers .280
9 power hitter .320

Pitching between 43-48mph with a fastball, curve and change up and I think the #2 has been working on a drop ball. If I where you guys I'd bump up the old jugs machine adn start working on the faster pitching ;)

Well the BA's aren't that important when your blowing it by batters at 44mph and if that doesn't work wait until they toss the knuckle baller out....

I'm only giving the Cali folks a hard time a few tend to come over here and lecture us about what we're doing wrong with our Daughters without a clue. Like a bunch of recovering DD members in a 12 step program. Half say everyone is pushing them too hard, Half say they aren't challenged enough. Over the next month there will be some great softball between great teams with dedicated, talented young athletes meeting in various sanctions and tournaments. I wish them all the best of luck, safe travels and play.
