Tee.

The machine is more fun, though. So, let's say 20% machine and 80% tee.

Plus, a tee can be set up in the garage.

Tee for sure, perfect pitch everytime and there are so many ways to work with them.

Pitching machines are ok to work with bunting some. I think we may have turned the machine on 1 time total all winter. If you have enough room for pitching machine work though, then you may want to use Live-Arm Pitching... You can get the indoor balls "incrediball" by Easton works great and hit live pitching even in a cage. We do this all winter and it keeps both our hitters and pitchers on top of their game.

Tee is good, but the machine not only works for the swing but the timing as well. It is very important especially when you have a pitcher throwing harder than normal. So depending on what you are gearing up for, tunning up a swing (tee) or gearing up for a big game (machine) but if you have time try to do both, tee first of course. But if I only had one choice yup the tee..............then the machine :ugeek:

One reason I don't care for the pitching machine is that it does not simulate the arm motion of a pitcher which IMO causes timing issues with the batter's swing.

DonnieS...I work with 12-u.
Stubs..... you can simulate the windmill while pitching on a machine, hold one ball in the shute with your left hand and simulate the pitchers wind up with your right hand, as soon as your right hand reaches your hip drop the ball out of your left hand in the shute. watch for the come backers..lol.
