Stoney Point vs Westwood....18 innings and it's still going

A game sure to be in the record books is still not completed.

Stony Point vs Westwood, Ashley Kirk vs Brittany Mack.

The games started at 7:30pm and was halted at 12 midnight. 18 innings 32 K's for Kirk, 36 K's for Mack, and huge defensive plays have made this a game to remember.

Both teams had chances to finish it but the D's came up strong and the pitching just kept getting better.

There must be less than 6 hits per side and walks are few and far between. Batting averages are taking a betting. The conclusion of this game will be Monday at 5:30 at Westwood.

The inept hitting and ludicrous strike zones continue to be woven into the fabric of
the game.

Well, it will have to go a little longer to become some type of record. My daughter pitched a 31 inning HS game over two days and I think at the time it ranked as the fourth longest in high school history.
