So ... I got up early yesterday morning and had to leave on a short road trip ... back by noon and worked around here, waiting on customers and doing the usual paperwork, phone calls etc. ... ... finsihed up about 5:30, grabbed a brewski and when I went to remove my work sneakers , I realized I had 2 different sneakers on all day ... Oh well ... figure I better get ready for a friends surprise birthday party at a local watering hole that I've never been to ... My Mate and I show up just before the guest of honor ... I'm feeling pretty good because I know my sneakers match ... doesn't take me long to realize however, that I'm the only male in the room ... Woman ranging from biker chicks to 'driving Miss Daisies' to 40 year old housewives wondering how I didn't get the memo that this was 'girls nite out' ....

... can't wait to see what todays like

G, gotta tell you, I see some racial tension in this black vs white issue here. Maybe even some groundhog profiling. Did your black dog just assume that the said groundhog was anglo - just because he was white in appearance, did your dog take the time to be sure he was following proper ethic ettiquet before taking action. These are the days of change now and we cant act like we did before - I am thinking some ethnic education classes at the local animal shelter might be in order here.

HMmmmm? ... I thought dogs were color blind ... therefore, there could be no ethnic or racial profiling ... and in the past month, she has sent 6 'brown' furred ground hogs to their happy hole in the sky ... I didn't ask her if she knew the 'prey of the day' was 'light furred' ? un-brown ? ... color challenged ? ... geesh ... what is the politically correct term ?

Skidder ... after my GNO I wasn't tired ! ... I was invigorated and in touch with my female side ... I highly recommend it ... As for the pale sleepy soil-pig ... I tried CPR to no avail

OK, Donnie, it looks like you falsely accused the dog of racism, now you're gonna have to invite the dog and the groundhog down to Texas for a beer so you can smooth it all over.

The groundhog looks like he might be smelling pretty bad by then, but you gotta sacrifice a little now and then when you slip up like that.
