All of you that voted for Batbusters(Montoya) might want to rethink your vote. Batbusters lost to Glory Elliott, yesterday in the McKinney tournament. FYI.

Can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen...

Don't like the poll, don't vote....

Don't like my post, don't read it...

My opinion is my opinion, and nothing else, if you don't agree with it, who cares. That's what makes the world go round. If we wll agreed it would be a boring place to be, right!! lol

Start your own poll with your own opinions..you won't see me crying like a little baby, becasue I know it is your opinion and you are entitled to it bubba yellowball!! ;)

Lori,
As Travelball has stated in the past, you make your self look real stupid with your post, I did not state an opinion, I stated a fact. Batbusters was defeated last night by Glory Elliot and this morning by SC Mean Green, no opinion there, only fact. My opinion was those that voted for Montoya might want to rethink their vote. Never once did I criticize your post, but now I will. You really do need to check your facts before you post. You have already proven you do not know what you are talking about. Have a great day.

Hey yellowball--calm down lover..I meant to type travelball, not yellowball. I apologize. Although I think you would be able to tell that from what my post said, I guess some things have to be spelled out everytime. I aplogize to you yellowball, and travelball still doesn't know what's what.

Hmmmmmmm . . . . Lori, this looks like a cut-and-paste job from the same exact post you put on your 14u, 16u, and 18u post . . . so it's more likely that you didn't re-type the exact same post three times . . . which means that you intentionally had to have changed travelball to yellowball in the 14u post . . . still ROTFLMAO . . . .

Still early in the season but my vote goes to Glory (Elliott) - has some good hitters (Some great), great speed, and good pitching. They seem to be the better all around team this early in the season.

Fusion (Sidwell) - Great team and they are still working out the "new team" kinks.

94 Glory (Drummond) - good team - I did find out that they have 4-5 good 93's on their team that bring alot of experience to the field.

Batbuster(Montoya) - not sure what is going on with them. If you watch them they have TONS of talented athletes but they just can't seem to pull it together yet. Hopefully things will change.

I agree Flash 4, it is way to early to tell who the best team is 2-3 tournaments into the season.

14U is going to be a tough this year, and I think right now you could see a different team winning every weekend.

Based on the tournaments played already this is how I would vote.

94 Texas Glory (Drummond)- great team, great defense and really quick, 3rd at Bombers Shootout, 1st April Fool's, Did not make top 8 in Allen get my vote over Elliott due to win in April Fool's tournament.
94 Texas Glory (Elliott)- Top 3 in Allen and April Fool's, great team with lots of speed and solid defense, can hit the ball or play the short game.
Fusion (Sidwell)- Great team with strong pitchers, great team speed, just needs a little more time to gel and get the bats consistent. Will be a force to be reckoned with in any tournament.
94 Batbuster (Montoya)-This team has all the ability to be great. Strong defense, solid pitching, and can out hit anybody on any given day. Just don't seem to have put it all together yet. Without a doubt the best 94 team last year.
Texas Travelers (Splash)- haven't seen much of them so far, strong finish in Allen and I am sure they will be as strong as ever.
94 Texas Elite- this team seems to have really improved from the Fall, added a few key player and have been competitive so far this year. 4th in Bombers Shootout and Top 8 in Allen. Will be interesting to see if they keep it up all year.
American Freedom- should be competitive play up mostly but will try and qualify 14U. Apparently they rolled the Batbusters in the Bomber Tournament with 1/2 their team. Don't know if they have played since then.

I am sure as always someone will feel left out, but remember it is not how you start that is important it is how you finish.

I agree Elliot's team is looking good so far in every local tourney

Fusion is looking good to but yet to win one.

As for Batbusters...they had big problems this weekend. They coudn't win.

Glory 94, they are strong and seem to be getting stronger. In NB they got 3rd and beat some tough teams. In Allen heard they had all catchers injured and other players sick. With all that, they still had fight in them to almost beat 93 Splash. I watched that game...best one of the tourney. Both teams fought hard to the end. This weekend in McKinney, they looked really strong. Their two pitchers kept opponents off balance and threw everything but what the batters were expecting, and their defense was great. I was told they had two 93's, two 95's, and the rest 94's. They beat Fusion and the other Glory 94 team. I left after that game and didn't see who one the tourney. My daughter plays on an 18U team and I'd say we would have had problems with this team if we had played them today.

I don't think there is any good teams, but a lot of average teams. The talent is out their, but there is to many teams. Two teams need to combine and make a run at nationals.

Glory94 gets the most out of the talent they have on the team, which I credit to coach Hart. They always come out the gate fast, but seem to melt in the heat of summer. Play sound defense and know how to manufacture runs. I don't feel like there pitching can compete with the Cali teams.

Fusion(Sidwell) Have the best 94 pitchers in north Texas, I hear alot about the 93 players on this team, but the 94 players might be the cream of the crop.Probably the most talented team in north Texas. But talent does not win games, teams win games.

Batbusters(Montoya) When they get along, they are very hard to beat. Played great last year, but started off poor this year, have to wait and see.

Glory(Elliott) Loaded with talent and money, which I think is a big plus. Will probably dominate north Texas, but not Nationals.

I have not seen some of the rest of teams play yet, but I am sure there are some good teams out there somewhere.
