Best Love Songs (Rock)

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.
Keep it reasonable.

Yep, they're back. Seeing as there isn't much going on in the softball world these days, it's as good a time as any to figure out what the all-time greatest rock love songs/rock ballads are. Here are my picks (I think):

5. Right Down the Line--Gerry Rafferty
4. Lovesong--The Cure
3. Love to Love--UFO
2. Always Somewhere--Scorpions
1. Bargain--The Who

Alternates:
Sweet Child O' Mine/November Rain--GNR
Tiny Dancer--Elton John
Baby I Love Your Way--Peter Frampton
I'm Not In Love--10cc
Magnet and Steel--Walter Egan
Alison--Elvis Costello
And about 20 different Journey tunes.
There is no charge for awesomeness
...or attractiveness.

About damn time!

I just have one.
"Thank you" by Led Zeppelein.
We played it at our wedding, aboard the Tahoe Queen, an big, old fashioned, steam paddle boat on Lake Tahoe.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,
together we shall go until we die. My, my, my.
An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more be sad, happiness....I'm glad.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

Wonderful Tonight.....my wedding song!

Nothing better than country for love songs, though.
Hal Ketchum: I know where love lives and Somebody's love

My favorite artist - Jimmy Buffett: He went to Paris, Come Monday, and the all time best love song ever recorded: Why don't we get drunk

Gotta go with the song my wife wanted to play as we walked down the aisle:

Used to Love Her (But I Had to Kill Her)
==> GNR

John
10 years from now I'll wish I felt like I do these days.
